The consistency with which they do this in the movie is just amazing, too. I really appreciate that they kept this nuanced realism, and they didn’t make a big deal of it either. It’s just there, as a consequence of what Hiccup did, quietly in the background. Realism and deftness. Perfection. Marks of what Hiccup did to Toothless, but of what Toothless forgave him for too.

Also, if you look closely at those bola ropes, they’re stained with blood.

It’s scary to find someone that makes you happy. You start giving them all of your attention because they’re what makes you forget everything bad that’s going on in your life. They’re the first person you want to talk to in the morning and the last one before you sleep just so you can start and end your day with a smile.
